Licence
Licence
The licence identifies you as a downhill rider and gives you access to sports medical insurance across Europe — with no need to compete.
— / The licence
The downhill licence, as well as identifying you as a downhill rider, gives access to major benefits such as sports medical insurance — and the peace of mind of having the risks of downhill covered, usually across Europe rather than nationally only, with no need to compete.
— / Validity & renewal
The licence is valid for one year. The exact validity dates depend on the discipline you register under and on your regional federation. To renew it, you follow the same process as the initial sign-up: through your club.
— / How to get federated
The federation card is processed through a club affiliated with the skating federation of your autonomous community. Find a club in your community and get in touch — they'll help you with the sign-up, the insurance and what to do in case of an accident.

Holding the federation card lets you appear in the national riders' ranking and be eligible to join the Spanish longboard or inline National Team. You'll be able to represent your people in competitions around the world alongside the National Downhill Committee and the Real Federación Española de Patinaje.
